Charlize whistled, it was a weird note that came from her throat. It sounded too cheerful for her, but it was most definitely not a cheerful tune, moreso a ballad. That note, however seemed, if sang alone, was happy- and completely jovial. She pursed her lips, stepping lightly on the cold ground, of course- and decided for a different tune.
She went past the old caretaker's hut and found a seat where she could see the castle as the sun went down. One would be mistaken to think that she preferred sentimental moments to past the time. But all depending on that individual's own thinking, Charlize was interested in the sunset for strange purposes.
Hogwarts was a place of many discrepancies. She was far too busy observing the people around her, their strengths, their weaknesses, guessing how long it would take for them to die under the Cruciatus curse. These were some of the little things that made the day go by faster. The sunset reminded her of how slowly death could be perceived or even recognized.
Of course, no one knew. No one except a few knew any of her dark secrets, and she wasn't planning on having anyone but those know. She never dared to call herself sane, for that would be a lie. In her own book of philosophy, sane was just a four-letter word that rhymed with bane. Insane, but perfectly aware of her circumstances and decisions, Charlize found ways to 'make merry' with her peers.
She didn't like to chatter, but when she did it was like talking to a Raggedy Ann doll. Short. Harsh. Disdainful. Only, she stared at you with those eyes, those eyes that shook mountains with fear. The high pitched, annoying voice, soft as a whisper and strong as thunder. Ears that listened, the judged, that remembered, that killed.
The sun sets now. And there's no comedy to be shared.

Jakub loved sunsets. He loved how they looked. He loved the feeling. It was the perfect time to him. And the sun was setting. He always was outside walking during the sunset.
He saw a girl sit down by the caretaker's hut. She wasn't someone he knew, but he decided to talk to her anyways. He walked over and sat down.
"Hey." he said. "Do you mind if i sit with you?" All he could think about was what happened with Marissa earlier. And how he had gotten four detentions for it. He thought it was unfair. The sunset was the only thing that calmed him down. After that was gone he probably would be freaking out.

She hadn't even heard anyone come near her, but she heard a voice. She glanced up to find a boy standing there. Do you mind if I sit with you? he asked. She stifled a laugh. "Yeah probably." she told him, smirking. She crossed her legs, being quite snooty. She stared out into the sky for a second. She was often very blunt, but quite purposely.
She was obviously without manners. "So, what do you like..not have any friends or something? I mean, you're kind of cute so I couldn't see that happening." she started a bit of conversation. It probably wasn't what he was expecting, but it was a few words nonetheless.

Either she's pissed or she's full of herself. He didn't know which, but he would find out.He sat down next to her anyways. "No, i was just walking around and saw a cute girl and thought i should talk to her. But i guess this cute girl doesn't want to talk."

Charlize picked at flecks of dust on her midnight leggings. There was nothing else to distract her from listening to the guy speak, so she did. And from the sound of things, he was totally preparing to hit on her. "She doesn't mind." she started, glancing sideways at him.
"It all depends on if the conversation is interesting or not." she grinned, crossing one leg over the other. "Mind you, I'm not intrigued by just any old thing and I doubt that you can amaze me." her smile faded slightly.

He smiled at her, and said "Okay." and moved a little closer. He kept looking over at her. She was cute, and he just met her, but he liked her. "Okay then we'll talk about you, you seem interesting." he told her.

She laughed. "Honestly? I talk about myself all of the time." she turned to face him and found that he was surprisingly close. This could probably make things interesting. "Why don't you try to amaze me..?" her voice trailed off, for she realized that she didn't recognize him. She wasn't really into house rivalries, and she wasn't in his presence long enough to place a house on him quite yet.
"How about a name?"

He smiled at her. "J-a-k-u-b, Jakub Andrew." he said, spelling it out. He didn't know her so he didn't know what house she was in, but luckily most of his friends didn't care for house rivalries. "Wha-Whats your name?" he asked.

She had to admit that she was little weirded out by how he decided to spell his name so vehemently. "What is this? A spelling competition?" she rolled her eyes. "Charlize." she told him, her eyes sparkling with satisfaction, a feeling that came every time she spoke her own name. "Charlize Capulet. But in no way related to that pathetic Juliet character. Muggles are idiots." she scoffed. Some people didn't know that Charlie was as intelligent as she was. No one would expect her to know about William Shakespeare, but unfortunately her mother had learned to appreciate muggles in her later life.

"Ugh...i had to read that in muggle school before i came here." he said. "I hated it. I'm not too big on reading." he remembered them having to read Shakespeare. That was probably what ruined reading for him, he hated anything like that. "I don't think they're idiots. I don't like them quite as much as wizards though. It's so much easier to be with a wizard than a muggle." he said.

Charlize chuckled. "You went to muggle school? That's actually really funny." she told him. She, herself, was home schooled until the age of eleven, which was probably another reason why she didn't get along with people and why she was often so rude. Then again, it was probably why she saw herself as so much more intelligent than everyone else.
"Do you mean dating or being in the presence of a muggle?" she quirked an eyebrow at him. "Well, it doesn't matter. I've done neither and I don't plan on it anytime soon."

"Yeah, i did" he told her, "It sucks. They didn't know for sure i was a wizard until i turned 11." he smiled remembering the day he found out. "Doing anything with a muggle...it's horrible." he said. "I never plan to go back to doing stuff the old way, magic is so much better."
