Tobias walked out of the Slytherin common room. It was midnight or so and he knew full well that he shouldn't be out wandering around. Then again it really didn't matter at the moment he knew how to not get caught out late at night and where he was going they knew better then to piss him off. He could be rather moody when he was hungry and feeling like making himself a snack. He hadn't talked to his sisters lately either and he wasn't happy about that. He sighed and walked into the kitchen. The house elves looked up at him but he gave them a glare and walked over to one of the fridges.
He opened up the fridge and went rummaging through it to find sandwich mixings which didn't talk him long. He was making a sandwich and looking for some firewhiskey. He was one of those students you didn't want to see without firewhiskey close by when he was in a mood. He was feeling a little better now and glared back at the house elves that tried to take the bottle of firewhiskey he had out and put in back in the fridge. "Did I say that you could touch that." The house elf fell back and left the bottle on the counter that he was sitting at. He was finishing up his sandwich so he wasn't paying attention to who might be entering the kitchen.

Eliza walked through the halls of Hogwarts, towards the Kitchens. She just wanted a small snack, besides, she knew she wouldn't get caught. She wasn't ever caught. She tickled the pear, holding back a laugh at how stupid it was, to her. She really didn't get why you had to tickle a painting of a pear, just to get in the kitchens. It struck her dumb. She quietly went in and was slightly surprised to see someone else there, that she knew. She rolled her eyes, chuckling quietly. "You need a midnight snack too?" She asked sarcastically. Then she asked one of the house elves to get her some crackers. She got them almost immediately and started nibbling on them, watching who she finally recognized as Tobias Wood. Who also had firewhiskey. She sighed heavily.
"Is firewhiskey really necessary?" She asked dully, looking at him. She was probably one of the only ones who wasn't afraid to get him mad. But, then again, she had quite a temper too. She waited for his response, studying the kitchen absent-mindedly.

Tobias looked up as he heard someone talk. He knew it was not a house elf. He didn't turn to look to see who it was. He knew the voice all to well. That's what happens when you grow up with the same people year in and year out. On top of that when you are in the same house and around the same temperment things aren't hard to figure out. He didn't turn to meet the voice only nodded his head as if it were a dumb question. Finally as it got quiet yet again he turned to come face to face with Eliza Coltt. The girl was cute and had only gotten prettier over the years. It was hard for him to outwardly admit that and there was no way he as going to any time soon. That would just not be like him. He was not at all like his dad in that sense. He could be a ladies man if he wanted too he prefered to keep the low profile. He's had maybe two girlfriends in the course of five years at the school.
He laughed softly and then looked at her straight in the eyes. "Yes it is. Eliza you should know me by now." Of course she did know him. She was probably the only one that was not afraid to get him mad. He rather liked her for that reason. She wasn't afraid and that was charming. He took a swig of his firewhiskey which meant that he was now down to maybe one more glass. That could be saved however. He got up and put it away. "You see I don't do well when I don't have firewhiskey in my system. I would think after five years Dear Eliza you would know that." He gave her a smirk and say back down on his stool. He knew it was very uncleanly to actually sit on the counter. Though he did sit on the top of his desk before class started most of the time. It was a known fact that if he had not had firewhiskey or sugar of some sort he would be most unruly in class.

Eliza sighed, her lips pursed. "Yes, I do know you. Considering I've known you since 1st year." She said, glancing at him. She swore she saw slight admiration. But she just ignored it. Probably just her imagination. She made a face when Tobias took a gulp of the firewhiskey. But was slightly relieved to see him put it away. She chuckled at what he had said. "Yes, I think I know quite well. But I don't see how its necessary. And...I have no idea who you're calling 'dear'. Because I'm far from it." She said, rolling her eyes. She knew she was far from dear. Considering she could turn into one of the worst people imaginable if provoked, considering her temper. She shook off her thoughts.
Then she saw his smirk. She raised an eyebrow. "Besides, isn't there anything else besides drinking firewhiskey? There has to be an alternative." She said airily, looking straight at him with a sort of glare. She didn't like the fact of him having to drink firewhiskey just to keep his temper under control. She had a bad temper herself, and she was able to contain it. "You've seen my temper, you've seen how bad I can get. Yet, though my temper is similar to yours, I have no need to drink just to keep under control." She said thoughtfully, propping herself on her arm on the counter while she thought. She found this peculiar.

Tobias just gave a nod of his head to Eliza's first comment. "Oh yes I know you are far from dear in that sense Eliza but you are female and most females I call dear for no other reason but that. I blame the fact I have sisters." Actually he loved his sisters dearly and making sure that they were happy and okay was his top priority as always. He had to be there for them when their parents weren't. He went back to not paying much attention to the house elves or thinking about anything Eliza had his full undivided bit of attention. He knew that he was get the roll of the eyes from her for calling her dear. He'd known her and kept an eye on her since their first year. They probably knew more about eachother then either of them would admit to it.
He sighed and rolled his eyes to her comments about his temper and the use of firewhiskey. "I do not drink fire whiskey to calm my temper actually. Its just as bad on firewhiskey or not. I just like it and at some points it does keep me calm enough to pay attention. I don't focus as much if I don't have it or sugar. I can go without it just well I like that taste." That was the truth of the matter really. When it was late and he was supposed to be asleep he's drink firewhiskey instead of eating sugar or some sort. Sure there was probably something else he could use but well he hadn't found it. And sometimes he got annoyed with sugar and drank firewhiskey. "Yes I know you can keep your temper under control unless provoked. Guess i just haven't found anything better to keep me calmed and focus. It really doesn't have that much to do with my temper in the first place. Just my lack of focus."

Eliza chuckled when Tobias said she wasn't dear in 'that' sense, her temper. But, she understood when he said he had sisters. She knew that. She also noticed, at that moment, that she was probably one of the only ones that knew him well enough. But, she knew that was only because they were similar. She had no idea why she was thinking this, it had just come to mind. She listened to his explaination about why he drinks firewhiskey. She felt her lips go in a small grimace. "To me firewhiskey is repulsive." She said, looking away from him. She was thinking as she listened to him. Lack of focus...for her it depends on whether or not she's having a good day. "Why don't you just try...keeping your thoughts light? Thats kind of what I do...try not to let much get to me...or worry about much..." She said, kind of shuffling her words. She couldn't exactly put it into complete, understandable context. But, she hoped that explained enough. But, at that moment, she couldn't find a reason for why she exactly cared why Tobias drank firewhiskey for focus. She bit her lower lip, covering her face with her hair as she thought. (OOC: Its okay. )
